Esta Declaración de Fe refleja la posición doctrinal conservadora evangélica de acuerdo a las enseñanzas de la Biblia, las cuales han prevalecido a las pruebas históricas. Nosotros específicamente afirmamos las siguientes verdades doctrinales:

1. Las Escrituras

                  Nosotros creemos que toda la Biblia (Los 66 libros) es la Palabra Inspirada de Dios y que hombres de Dios fueron inspirados por el Espíritu Santo para escribir las palabras de la Escritura. La Biblia, entonces, es sin error en sus manuscritos originales. Dios de una forma sobrenatural ha preservado la Biblia y esta es nuestra autoridad final de fe y practica, útil para enseñar, redargüir, corregir e instruir en justicia. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Ped. 1:20-21).

2. Dios (La Trinidad)

                  Nosotros creemos en un solo y verdadero Dios eterno y existente en tres distintas personas (Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo) cada una de las cuales es completa e igualmente Dios, poseen toda la naturaleza y atributos divinos y son dignas de nuestra adoración y servicio. (Deut. 6:4; Mat. 28:19; Jn 1:14, 10:30; 2 Cor. 13:14).

3. Dios El Padre

                  Nosotros creemos que Dios El Padre es la primera persona de la Trinidad y es Eterno, Incambiable, Omnipotente, Omnisciente, Omnipresente, Amoroso, Sabio, completamente Justo, perfectamente Santo, Creador, Soberano y Sustentador del Universo.  Él es el Padre de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo y el Padre de todo creyente verdadero en Jesucristo. (Gen. 1:1; Ef. 4:6; Jn 1:12-13, 5:19-21, 17:1-5; Is. 40:21-28, 43:10-13, 46:8-11; Rom. 8:14-16).

4. Dios El Hijo

                  Nosotros creemos que Jesucristo es la segunda persona de la Trinidad y que es el hijo unigénito del Padre y que se encarno para revelarle a Dios a la humanidad, cumplir las profecías y ser El Salvador de la humanidad perdida. Al encarnarse, Jesús no perdió su divinidad por lo que Él es completamente Dios y completamente hombre de manera inseparable en una sola persona por siempre. Jesús fue milagrosamente concebido por el Espíritu Santo, Nacido de la Virgen Maria, vivió sin pecado, murió en la cruz como sacrificio suficiente y vicario por todos los pecados de la humanidad, fue sepultado, resucito corporalmente al tercer día, ascendió físicamente al Cielo en su cuerpo glorificado, esta sentado a la diestra del Padre ejerciendo su ministerio de intercesión, regresará en el aire para tomar su iglesia y volverá a la tierra en forma corporal, personal y visible para concluir la historia humana y consumar el eterno plan de Dios por medio del juicio y su Reino Milenial el cual será seguido del estado eterno de las cosas. (Jn 1:1, 14, 18, 3:16; Luc 1:30-35; Fil. 2:5-8; Col. 2:3,9: Mr 10:45; Hch 2:22-24; Jn 1:29; Rom. 3:25-26; Heb. 10:5-14; 1Ped. 2:24, 3:18; Jn 20:20; Fil. 3:20-21; Heb. 9:28; 1 Tes. 4:13-18; 2 Tes.  2:7; Mat. 24:44; Ap. 19:11-21; Ap. 21:22).

5. Dios Espíritu Santo

                  Nosotros creemos que el Espíritu Santo es la tercera persona de la Trinidad y que vino al mundo en el Día de Pentecostés para glorificar a Cristo y para capacitar al hombre para apropiarse de la Salvación que es en Cristo Jesús,  Él es el agente primario de convicción de pecado y de regeneración. Simultáneamente con la Salvación el Espíritu Santo imparte vida nueva, bautiza al creyente en el cuerpo de Cristo (La Iglesia), mora permanentemente en el creyente y le sella para el día de redención. El Espíritu Santo llena (Dirige y controla) a aquellos creyentes que se lo permiten,  capacita a los creyentes para el vivir cristiano y les libera de la esclavitud del pecado.  Nosotros también creemos que el Espíritu Santo da dones espirituales a los creyentes con el propósito de edificar la iglesia de acuerdo a las enseñanzas de las Escrituras, ningún don espiritual en particular se espera en todos los creyentes ni para una vida santa. (1 Cor. 13:8, 14:22; Jn 16:7-15; 1 Cor. 6:19, 12:13; Ef. 1:13-14, 4:30; Gal. 5:16-17, 22-23; Rom. 8:5-13; 1 Ped. 4:10-11; Rom. 12:3-8).

6. El Hombre (La Humanidad)

                  Nosotros creemos que el hombre fue creado a la imagen y semejanza de Dios por un acto directo de Dios y no como resultado de evolución. El hombre fue creado para glorificar, adorar y servir a Dios y tener compañerismo con Él.  El hombre cayó por el pecado al desobedecer a Dios, lo que trajo como consecuencia la muerte física y espiritual lo cual separo al hombre de Dios. La naturaleza del hombre fue corrompida y el hombre esta totalmente perdido en sus “delitos y pecados”, y totalmente incapacitado para salvarse a si mismo por su propio merito y esfuerzo y así reestablecer su relación con Dios. (Gen. 1:26, 2:6,17; 3:17-24; Is. 59:1-2; Rom. 3:9-19, 23, 5:6-8; Luc. 18:26-27; Ef. 2:1-3). 

7. Satanás

                   Nosotros creemos que Satanás es el instigador del mal y un ser espiritual real y no la simple personificación del mal. El es un ángel caído quien bajo la autorización soberana de Dios se le ha dado el dominio de este mundo. Él fue completamente vencido en la cruz del calvario, pero la ejecución de su juicio ha sido pospuesta hasta la venida de Cristo para establecer su reino y después del reino milenial Satanás será lanzado al lago de fuego. Mientras tanto, él engaña al mundo y busca establecer su falso reino para desacreditar y blasfemar a Dios y para tentar, acusar y atacar  a los creyentes. Satanás puede ser resistido por los creyentes a través de la fe y dependencia en el poder del Espíritu Santo. (Gen. 3: 1-5; Isa. 14:12-17; Ez. 28:11-19; Job 1:12; 1 Jn 5:19; 2 Cor. 11:14; 1 Tim. 3:6; 1 Ped. 5:8-9; Santiago 4:7; Ap. 12:9, 20: 1-3, 7-10).

8. La Salvación

                   Nosotros creemos que la sangre derramada de Jesucristo en la cruz provee la única base para el perdón de los pecados y la salvación, la salvación es un regalo gratis de la gracia de Dios. La Salvación es efectuada por la regeneración del Espíritu Santo y no puede ser obtenida por obras o meritos personales. La Salvación solo se obtiene al poner la fe en la obra culminada de Cristo en la cruz. “El evangelio es poder de Dios para salvación a todo aquel que cree”, aquellos que reciben a Jesucristo por la fe son nacidos de Nuevo, sus pecados son perdonados, son hechos hijos de Dios, una nueva criatura en Cristo y son bautizados y sellados por el Espíritu Santo para el día de redención siendo sostenidos por el poder de Dios. (Ef. 1:7, 13-14; Jn 1:12-13, 3:1-7, 14-16; 2 Cor. 5:17; Rom. 1:16, 10:9-10; Ef. 2:8-10; Rom. 8:14-17, 31-39; Jn 10:27-29, 14:6; Hch. 26:20; 1 Ped. 1:3-5).

9. La Vida Cristiana

                  Nosotros creemos  que cada cristiano debe vivir para Cristo y no para si mismo por el poder del Espíritu Santo, permitirle a Cristo manifestarse en su vida para Gloria de Dios. Por medio de una creciente obediencia a la Palabra de Dios, cada creyente debe madurar espiritualmente y progresivamente imitar más y más a Jesús. En el poder del Espíritu Santo, cada creyente debe vivir una vida santa, no satisfacer los deseos de la carne, ejercitar sus dones espirituales para la edificación del cuerpo de Cristo (La Iglesia), testificar a Cristo, involucrarse personalmente en hacer discípulos para cumplir la Gran Comisión, hacer buenas obras y dar fruto para la Gloria de Dios. (Gal. 2:20; 1 Ped. 1:15-16, 2:11; 2 Cor. 5:14-15; Rom. 6:11-13; Ef. 2:10, 4:11-12, 22-24; 1Ped. 4:10-11; Hch. 1:8; Mat. 28:18-20; Col. 1:10; Jn 15:8-16).

10. La Iglesia

                  Nosotros creemos que la iglesia es el cuerpo de Cristo de la cual Cristo es la cabeza y cuyos miembros son aquellos  que han sinceramente aceptado a Cristo por la fe, la iglesia comenzó con la venida del Espíritu Santo en el día de Pentecostés cumpliéndose así la promesa de establecer un Nuevo pacto librando así tanto a Judíos como Gentiles  de vivir bajo un sistema de reglas, estableciendo una relación basada en la gracia y acceso personal a Dios. La Iglesia local es la expresión tangible del cuerpo de Cristo en un lugar particular. Ya que todos los creyentes están unidos en Cristo por un mismo Espíritu, estos deben vivir en amor, armonía y unidad, siendo de una misma intención y propósito, proclamando a Cristo al mundo y glorificando a Dios en la tierra. (Hch. 1:8; 1 Cor. 12:12-27; Ef. 1:20-23, 4:12-16; Mat. 28:18-20; Jn 17; Col. 1:24-29; Jn 1:17; Ef. 2:13-15; Mat. 16:18; Gal. 2:16; Heb. 7:18-19; Jer. 31:31-33). 

11. Las Ordenanzas

                  Nosotros creemos que las únicas dos ordenanzas de la iglesia reconocidas por la Biblia son el Bautismo en agua y la Cena del Señor. El Bautismo en agua por inmersión es un testimonio público de obediencia que sigue a la salvación y que simboliza la muerte del creyente al pecado, su sepultura de la vieja vida y su resurrección para vida nueva. La Cena del Señor celebra el compañerismo y comunión con Cristo, simbólicamente conmemora su muerte y anticipa su segunda venida.(Mat. 28:19; Hch. 10:47-48; Luc 22:19-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-28; Rom. 6:3-4)

12. El Destino Eterno del Hombre

                  Nosotros creemos que al morir el creyente de manera consciente e inmediatamente entra en la presencia del Señor para esperar por la resurrección física y glorificación de su cuerpo en la segunda venida de Cristo. El creyente disfrutará vida eterna con Dios, compartiendo, sirviendo y adorando a Dios por siempre. (2 Cor. 5:6; 1 Cor. 15:12-58; Luc 23:39-43; 1 Tes. 4:13-18; Jn 3:16; Ap. 21:22). También creemos que al morir el no creyente de manera consciente e inmediatamente entra en una separación del Señor para esperar por su resurrección física, juicio y castigo eterno. (Luc 16:19-31; Jn 3:18; Ap. 20:5,11-15; 2 Tes.  1:5-10).

13. Las Cosas Futuras

                  Nosotros creemos en "esa bendita esperanza”, el rapto de la iglesia, y en la venida personal, visible y pre-milenial de nuestro Señor Jesucristo a la tierra para establecer su reino. Creemos en la resurrección de los creyentes y no creyentes. Los creyentes comparecerán ante el tribunal de Cristo para recibir premios y estar con Él por la eternidad y los incrédulos serán juzgados en el Gran Trono Blanco y serán lanzados al lago de fuego para sufrir un consciente y eterno castigo. (Tito 2:11-13; Jn 14:1-3; 1 Tes. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-58; Sal 24; Is. 9:6, 24:22-23; Zac 14:4; Hch. 1:10-11; Judas 14,15; Ap. 20; Mat. 25:31; 2 Ped. 3:1-13; Jn 5:29; 1 Tes. 4:13-18; Ef. 2:8-9; 1 Cor. 3:11-15; Luc 16:19-31, 24:36-44; 1 Jn 3:1-3; Ap. 20:11-15; 1 Cor. 15).

This doctrinal statement reflects the broad, mainstream, conservative evangelical tradition which is consistent with the teachings of the Bible and which has stood the test of history and experience. We specifically affirm the following doctrinal truths:

1. The Scriptures

                  We believe that the entire Bible (66 books) is the inspired Word of God and that men of God “were moved by the Holy Spirit” to write the very words of Scripture.  The Bible is therefore without error (inerrant) in its original manuscripts. God has supernaturally preserved the Bible and it is the sole final authority for faith and life providing encouragement, guidance, comfort and instruction for training and righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).

2. The Godhead (Trinity)

                  We believe in one true God eternally existing in three distinct persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) each of whom is fully and equally God; possesses all the divine nature and attributes, and is totally worthy of our worship and service. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; John 1:14, 10:30; 2 Cor. 13:14).

3. God the Father

                  We believe that God the Father is the first person of the Trinity and is the eternal, unchanging, all-powerful, all-knowing, all-wise, all-loving, completely just and perfectly holy, sovereign Ruler and Sustainer of the universe.  He is the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Father of all true believers in Jesus Christ. ( Gen. 1:1; Eph. 4:6; John 1:12-13, 5:19-21, 17:1-5; Is. 40:21-28, 43:10-13, 46:8-11; Rom. 8:14-16).

4. God the Son

                  We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity and is the only begotten eternal Son of God who became flesh to reveal God to man, to fulfill prophecy, and to become the Savior of the lost world. In becoming man, Jesus did not cease in any to be God so that He is fully God and fully man inseparably united in one person forever. Jesus was miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit; born of the virgin Mary; lived a sinless life; died on the cross as the substitutionary, all-sufficient atoning sacrifice for all of the sins of all men of all time; was buried; bodily rose from the dead; physically ascended into heaven in His glorified, resurrected body; is seated at the right hand of the father performing His ministry of intercession; will return in the air to claim His bride the church; and will come again to earth in bodily form, personally and visibly, to conclude human history and consummate God’s eternal plan by executing judgment and ushering in His Millennial Kingdom reign to be followed by the eternal state. (John 1:1, 14, 18, 3:16; Luke 1:30-35; Phil. 2:5-8; Col. 2:3,9: Mark 10:45; Acts 2:22-24; John 1:29; Rom. 3:25-26; Heb. 10:5-14;1Pet. 2:24, 3:18; John 20:20; Phil. 3:20-21; Heb. 9:28;     1 Thess. 4:1318; 2 Thess.  2:7; Matt. 24:44; Rev. 19:11-21; Rev. 21:22).

5. God the Holy Spirit

                  We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity who specially came into the world on the day of Pentecost to glorify Christ and to enable men to appropriate the salvation brought by Christ, He is the primary agent for the conviction of sin and for regeneration. Simultaneously with salvation, the Holy Spirit impart new life, baptizes the believer  into the body of Christ (His Church), permanently indwells the believer, and securely seals the believer unto the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit fills (directs and controls) those believers who are yielded to Him, enables believers to live a life, free from sin’s domination.  We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to believers for the purpose of edifying the church in accordance with the teaching of the scripture, no particular spiritual gift is required for holy living, no particular spiritual gift is expected of all believers. (1 Cor. 13:8, 14:22; John 16:7-15; 1 Cor. 6:19, 12:13; Eph. 1:13-14, 4:30; Gal. 5:16-17, 22-23; Rom. 8:5-13; 1 Pet. 4:10-11; Rom. 12:3-8).

6. Man

                  We believe that the man was created in the image of God by direct act of God and did not come into being as the result of evolution. Man was created to glorify God, worship and serve Him, and have fellowship with Him.  Man fell through sin by disobeying God, thus incurring both physical and spiritual dead, which alienate him from God.  Man’s nature was thus corrupted and he is utterly lost, “dead in trespasses and sins”, and totally incapable of saving himself and coming back into right relationship with God by his own merit or effort. (Gen. 1:26, 2:6,17,3:17-24; Is. 59:1-2; Rom. 3:9-19, 23, 5:6-8; Luke 18:26-27; Eph. 2:1-3). 

7. Satan

                   We believe that Satan is the instigator of evil and a real spirit being, not simply the personification of evil. He is a fallen angel who, under the sovereign permission of God, has been given temporary rulership of the earth. He was utterly defeated at cross, but the execution of his judgment has been postponed by God until Christ physical return to establish His Kingdom after the millennial kingdom he will be cast into the lake of fire. In the meantime, he deceive the world and seeks to establish his counterfeit kingdom on earth to discredit and blaspheme God and to tempt, accuse, attack and destroy believers. He can be resisted by the believer through faith and reliance on the power of the Holy Spirit. (Gen. 3: 1-5; Isa. 14:12-17; Ezek. 28:11-19; Job 1:12; 1 John 5:19; 2 Cor. 11:14; 1 Tim. 3:6; 1 Pet. 5:8-9; James 4:7; Rev. 12:9, 20: 1-3, 7-10).

8. Salvation

                   We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for forgiveness of sins and salvation, which is the free gift of God’s grace. Salvation is effected by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit and cannot be secured by man’s works or personal merit. Salvation is only appropriated by a person placing his faith in the finished work of Christ.  “The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” and those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born again, have their sins forgiven, become children of God, are new creation in Christ, and “are sealed by the Holy spirit unto the day of redemption” being kept by the power of God. ( Eph. 1:7, 13-14; John 1:12-13, 3:1-7, 14-16; 2 Cor. 5:17; Rom. 1:16, 10:9-10; Eph. 2:8-10; Rom. 8:14-17, 31-39; John 10:27-29, 14:6; Acts 26:20; 1 Pet. 1:3-5).

9. The Christian Life

                  We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself and should by the power of the indwelling Spirit, allow Christ to manifest His life trough him to God’s glory. By ever increasing obedience to the Word of God, each believer should mature and progressively become more like Jesus. In the power of the Holy Spirit, each believer should live a holy life; not fulfill the lusts of the flesh; exercise his spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ; witness for Christ; be personally involved in making disciples to fulfill the great commission; perform good works and bear fruit to the glory of God. (Gal. 2:20; 1 Pet. 1:15-16, 2:11; 2 Cor. 5:14-15; Rom. 6:11-13; Eph. 2:10, 4:11-12, 22-24; 1Pet. 4:10-11; Acts 1:8; Matt. 28:18-20; Col. 1:10; John 15:8-16).

10. The Church

                  We believe that the church is the body of Christ of which Jesus is the Head and whose members are those who have truly received Christ by faith, the church began with the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost with fulfillment of the promise to establish a new covenant relationship freeing both Jews and Gentiles from living under a system based on law keeping, to a relationship based on grace and personal access to God. The local church is a tangible expression of the body of Christ in a particular location. Since all members of the body of Christ are united in Christ by the same Spirit, they should live in love, harmony and unity, being intent on the same purpose, make Christ known to lost men, to make disciples and glorify God on earth. (Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 12:12-27; Eph. 1:20-23, 4:12-16; Matt. 28:18-20; John 17; Col. 1:24-29; john 1:17; Eph. 2:13-15; Matt. 16:18; Gal. 2:16; Heb. 7:18-19; Jer. 31:31-33). 

11. The Ordinances

                  We believes that the only two ordinances of the church recognize by the scripture are water baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Water baptism by immersion in an act of obedience following salvation which symbolically pictures the believer’s death to sin, burial of the old life, and resurrection to new life. The Lord’s Supper celebrates fellowship and communion with Christ, symbolically commemorates His death, and anticipates His second coming. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-28; Rom. 6:3-4).

12. Eternal Destiny of Men

                  We believe that at death every believer consciously and immediately enters into the presence and fellowship of the Lord to wait for the physical resurrection and glorification of his body at Christ return. The believer will thus enjoy life eternal with God, fellowshipping, serving and worshipping Him forever. (2 Cor. 5:6; 1 Cor. 15:12-58; Luke 23:39-43; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; John 3:16; Rev. 21:22). We believe that at death every unbeliever consciously and immediately enters into separation from the Lord to wait for the physical resurrection judgment and punishment. (Luke 16:19-31; John 3:18; Rev. 20:5, 11-15; 2 Thess.  1:5-10).

13. Future Things

                   We believe in “That blessed hope”, the rapture of the church, and in the personal visible, pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ to the earth to establish His kingdom. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the save and lost. The saved shall appear in heaven at the judgment seat of Christ to receive rewards and to dwell with Him to all eternity. The lost shall be judged at the Great White Throne and be cast into the lake of fire to suffer eternal conscious punishment. (Titus 2:11-13; John 14:1-3; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-58; Psalm 24; Is. 9:6, 24:22-23; Zechariah 14:4; Acts 1:10-11; Jude 14,15; Rev. 20; Matt. 25:31; 2 Pet. 3:1-13; John 5:29; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Eph. 2:8-9; 1 Cor. 3:11-15; Luke 16:19-31, 24:36-44; 1 John 3:1-3; Rev. 20:11-15; 1 Cor. 15).
